Lahore to Gwadar on Bike – A Travel guide to explore South Pakistan

After exploring Northern areas (KPK and Gilgit Baltistan) of Pakistan on my motorbike in 2020, i decided to explore South of Pakistan in 2021. This Travel series was shoot during my Travel from Lahore to Gwadar (up to Iran border) on Bike from 12-Feb-2021 to 5-March-2021.

Lahore – Sahiwal – Harappa – Multan – Cholistan Desert (Derawar Fort) – Sadiqabad – Daharki – Sukkur – Khairpur – Mohenjo Daro – Gorakh hill – Sehwan – Hyderabad – Thatta – Karachi – Kund malir – Ormara – Pasni – Gwadar – Jiwani – Iran Border

TRIP HIGHLIGHTS:

Dates of trip: 12-Feb-2021 to 05-March-2021

Total Days = 22

Total Kilometer traveled = 4000 km on Bike and 1300 km by train

Total Expense of Fuel + Oil = 10,555 Rs

Train expense from Karachi to Lahore: 3700 Rs (self ticket) + 1470 Rs (Bike cargo from KHI to LHE)

Accommodation = 2000 Rs*

Food = 3990 Rs*

Miscellaneous = 580 Rs

*NOTE: I mostly stayed with locals during my trip thats why accommodation and food expense are relatively less

 

Day-1: Lahore to Multan

 

 

Day-2: Multan to Cholistan Desert (Derawar Fort)

 

 

Day-3: Cholistan to Sadiqabad

 

Day-4: Sadiqabad to Raharki

 

 

Day-5: Daharki Engro colony

Spent full day in engro colony to meetup with all of my friends and colleagues working at Engro plant site

Day-6: Daharki to Sukkur

 

 

Day-7: Sukkur to Khairpur

 

Day-8: Khairpur to Larkana > Mohenjodaro and Dadu

Day-9: Dadu to Gorakh hill

 

Day-10: Gorakh Hill to Sehwan

 

Day-11: Sehwan to Hyderabad

 

Day-12: Hyederabad to Karachi

 

Day-13: A day in Karachi

 

Day-14: Karachi to Kund Malir beach

 

Day-15: Kund Malir > Buzi Pass > Princess of Hope > Ormara beach > Pasni

 

Day-16: Explored Pasni

 

Day-17: Pasni to Gwadar

 

Day-18: Gwadar > Pishukan > Ganz > Jiwani (Iran border) and back to Pasni

 

Day-19: Pasni to Kund Malir

 

Day-20: Kund Malir to Karachi

 

Day-21: Booked bike in Train and left from Karachi

 

Day-22: Reached Lahore and received my bike
